In truth, I had forgotten to follow my standard procedure: to review a book before starting another in the same series. Yet, the adventures of Tuppy Glossip were good enough to not disappear from my memory, given the ensuing, almost continuous hilarity, while the other adventures—visiting cabinet minister, Sippy & Waterbury, and how to get rid of Ms Pyke—were a similar joy to experience.
This doesn’t mean that one can’t guess what’s coming right around to corner, but it does mean that one can get lost in the Bertie & Wooster environment without a fear of being disappointed!
